Call for unity

 America needs to unify and fortunately the republican party may be ready to move on from trump. Regardless we need to emphasize political parties and issues to get away from the us vs them narrative. Tell the media to stop using red/blue maps and simply note republican, democrat or independent. It's time for change and to work together on issues that matter to the American people.

Border Security

 President Biden has come through again this time on border security. It was announced recently that the U.S. and Mexico are jointly working to secure the border and upgrade infrastructure. President Biden has secured $1.5 billion from Mexico for these efforts. So once again the border will be more secure and yes this time Mexico is paying for it!

Clear and present danger

 A federal judge has called Donald Trump, a former "President of the United States", a clear and present danger today during the Jan. 6th committee hearing. That alone should have been breaking news all day!!

Why Bill Maher makes me want to pull out my hair sometimes

 Bill Maher is great, I enjoy watching his show. But on a recent episode he complained about Ivermectin. We should at least study it, study everything he claimed. Yes it is true we need to throw everything including the kitchen sink at Covid but right now we have treatments that work and people are not using them. Of course yes study everything and let's see what works best. However what he didn't explain or understand is that there are two forms of Ivermectin. There is a pill meant for people and it is a legitimate medicine for certain conditions so yes study it for Covid. But a lot of people, primarily in the South, are going to the local animal feed store and buying Ivermectin in tubes that are meant for use in horses. They are poisoning themselves because they hear about the drug on Fox "news" channel (not a real news network, only for entertainment purposes). We just need to be clear and careful when we encourage people to experiment on their own.
