Vick should be suspended, then prosecuted

In a report today on ESPN.com two more witnesses, "friends" of Michael Vick have stated that he knew of the dog fighting going on at his Virginia home and even has an "affinity" for it. I can understand the position of the new head football coach for the Atlanta Falcons, he is new to Vick but he should not be new to the system. He should be aware of the lies. Michael Vick has all but confessed to these acts, which as noted in the ESPN piece are illegal in almost every state including Virginia and Georgia. Therefore Vick should be suspended while the investigation finishes. The team wants to wait but it will be delaying the final result. Vick is guilty of illegal dog fighting and animal abuse and should serve significant jail time. Sure now he is sorry. Now he wants to change his ways. He won't be hanging out with the same people, he says. But it is always after the fact that these soulful feelings come to light. Its too late. He was a part of this activity, owned the property and no doubt participated. Suspend him now and prosecute soon. Micheal Vick's career is over and Atlanta should have drafted another QB in the recent draft.

I have never been a fan of Vick in the NFL. He should have been thrown out for his THUGish activities long ago. Hopefully this will gain enough attention to get that done. THUGS dont belong in the NFL or NBA but then there wouldnt be an NBA.

ps Dont get too excited PETA, I dont like you either.
