Texas pet friends take action today

To all of my friends in Texas who care about their pets and animals I urge you to take action today and contact the Guadalupe County Attorney's office and the county Juvenile Court Judge. I will list their addresses below. I will link the story I read from PETA about 3 teens who tortured to death a 5 month old puppy named Toby. Regardless of how you feel about PETA, no animal deserves to die this way. The article is graphic so I suggest you read it only if your heart and stomach can take it. Otherwise just write your letters, make your calls, send your e-mails and get the word out that this will not be tolerated in Texas! DEMAND JUSTICE FOR TOBY!! Thank you.

Nude Silverstone ad too HOT for TX t.v.!

Comcast cable in Houston TX has pulled Alicia Silverstone's psa for PETA citing "nudity" as the excuse. Meanwhile on FX a character on the hit show Damages says "shit" and "bitch". NYPD Blue has shown partially nude characters on its show. But when it comes to healthy living and eating its time to draw the line. If you have not seen the tastefully done ad with the beautiful and talented Ms. Silverstone I have added the link below. Enjoy and consider a healthy diet. Banned on t.v., give me a break!

Thanks to good people

Good people like Alicia Silverstone do their part to educate people on the abuses that animals suffer thru on a daily basis but they often go a step further to educate people on how they can take better care of themselves. PETA was kind enough to put out a commercial featuring the beautiful Ms. Silverstone and the effects of healthy eating. I know how people here in my home state of Texas generally react to these promotions, but I am hoping that people will be wise enough to see the benefits of eating healthier. Whether you decide to become a complete vegetarian is up to you. But when you consider the effects of eating meat whether its mad cow disease or just the heart trouble you can end up with later. People would be wise to take notice of this important issue and consider changes that will help them not only live longer and better lives but will impact their family as well. If not for you then maybe do it for your family or others who count on you.

The vick auction and other blogs

We learned thru TMZ.com, of all places, that the US Humane Society is auctioning off Vick's notes to self that he left behind after making his "apology". Its almost funny but not really that the one thing I noticed during this whole ordeal was that Vick never once apologized for hurting any dogs. Why? Why can't he feel some sympathy for them or just express regret at what happened to them. Oh wait I know its because he's from the South and that's just the way we are down here. I'm in Texas which is technically Southwest, but according to Whoopi, whom I have generally held in high regard because of her political views, that's the way southerners are. They are too stupid to know right from wrong and marry their sisters or something. Basically she was attempting to do two things, 1. defend a black and 2. cause controversy so the show The View can stay on the air just a little longer. What stupid thing will she say next? Stayed tuned to The View, sucker. Anyway back to my point that dick oops I meant Vick never apologized for hurting dogs and it just so happens that at the last minute he scribble "dogs suffered" on the corner of this piece of paper that is being auctioned on ebay.
