Can you hear the THUNDER?! Portis story gets bigger

Not only is this story getting bigger and Portis, Samuels, the Redskins organization, and the NFL trying to cover his ass and their own, but I now see where Portis himself claimed that police and judges in Mississippi are a part of dog fighting in that state. He claims to have first hand knowledge of the dogs fighting and people involved. Of course now he is trying to save his sponsors and the Washington Redskins organization by saying he does not approve of dog fighting, but just the other day, in his own words, he did not have a problem with it. Too late Portis! This story will not die. Its time to put an end to dogfighting and get those involved brought to justice! For those who know players in the NFL or NBA or any other "professional" sport now is the time to come forward. How can we call them "professionals" and pay them millions in salary and endorsements and yet they completely disregard the law. Its time to put an end to this hypocrisy! Its time to put pressure on the sponsors, the teams and the "professional" leagues that so often look the other way. The US Humane Society and other national animal groups need to set up a dog fighting tip line so that people can report all cases to the proper authorities. And if local police are involved, as Clinton Portis claims, then the FBI or other federal agencies will need to get involved.

Clinton Portis quote:
"I know a lot of back roads that got a dog fight if you want to go see it. But they're not bothering those people because those people are not big names. I'm sure there's some police got some dogs that are fighting them, some judges got dogs and everything else."
