March to war part 2

Just in case you have not noticed, many pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together. Although I hope it does not come down to this, but apparently the US gov't has wanted war with Iran for quite some time. It was supposedly planned shortly after 9/11. But now with the recent capture of British troops it makes it an even greater possibility.

Today the news cautious. British Prime Minister Tony Blair warned Iran of a "different phase" of action should they continue to hold these men. And Russian news agencies are reporting that the Russian gov't is pulling out key personnel from Iran. Also, as with all of this, rumors are about that the Russian "intelligence" has witnessed massive US troop build-up along the Iranian border. Of course the US just happens to be conducting war games in the Persian Gulf, just as we did in March 2003 before we invaded Iraq.

So what does it all mean? Who knows but it is a problem because all this speculation is causing the price of gas to rise and rise quickly. Any little excuse or activity can cause this to happen. Today futures prices shot up $5 but the cost of oil per barrel closed only up $1.59 US dollars. But even then that is significant. So be aware, not afraid, but aware of these conditions and be prepared to pay more for gas until these matters are resolved.
