Oh what a day

I am definitely not one to be ungrateful. If you can read this then you can see. If you can see, you can admire the beauty in the world. Simple pleasures, the birds, the trees, colorful flowers. But everyday we re-live the same battles, whether its the Iraq conflict ( I won't call it a war bc well we are not at war with Iraq), Dems vs Repubs, the torture and killing of innocent animals. Do you realize that at this very moment, day after day, there is a caged animal suffering so that you can have the next wonder drug (which may in fact cause you more harm than good). There are animals suffering bc the Chinese people are too naive to understand contemporary medicine. Its ridiculous! Our politicians get elected promising to bring new hope. Saying they are going to unite us, not divide us. Well we all know how that turned out. It just gets tiring after so long. We all live thru this and we all deal with it. But shouldn't we do more? Should we try to make thing better. At least we read and we post and we try to educate people to make them aware of what is happening outside their small town or bug city. At the very least we can save a dog or cat, help a child or talk to an old person confined to a home or hospital. But do something! Tomorrow is a new day and the suffering of people and animals will still be there. We fight on! We must fight on!
